Virat Kohli Might Create a World Record in Upcoming Test Matches Against England


India is all set to host the first international series with England from February 05, 2021. India and England will play 4 test matches, 3 ODIs, and five T20 matches at home soil. Both the teams will enter the field with the motive of qualifying for the World Test Championship finals. Indian players will also have the opportunity to create a world record in the upcoming test matches. Virat Kohli Needs One Century to Surpass Pointing in Most Centuries by Captain in International Cricket

If Virat Kohli knocks a century against England in the first test, he will surpass the former Australian captain Ricky Pointing in the list of most centuries by captain in international cricket. Ricky Pointing, who has played 324 matches, has bagged 41 centuries in his Test career. Similarly, Virat Kohli has played 188 matches and bagged 41 centuries. The century by skipper will be the 28th test hundred.

Virat Kohli is Focusing on Fitness Regime in Quarantine Period

As per the rules by BCCI, players from both the team will be quarantined till the match due to security measures. The skipper recently posted a video on his official Instagram handle where he was working hard with good music. He also added a motivational quote in the video and stated that if one really wants to work, they can put in anywhere. Similar to Kohli, Mayank Agrawal also shared training session videos on his social media platforms.

Even though India decimated Australia in the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2020-21, India will need to strategize the game plan to secure victory against England.
