For the upcoming season of CPL 2020, the Zouks team has signed up the most decorated batsman in the history of T20 – Chris Gayle as their marquee player. Previously, Gayle has played for the Tallawahs in the first four CPL seasons before spending 2018 and 2019 with St Kitts and Nevis Patriots team. As per the latest notifications issued by the St Lucia Zouks team, Chris Gayle won’t be able to play the 2020 season due to few “personal reasons”. Nevertheless, the Zouks has made a great effort to retain its core players, while joining some cricket debutants in their team league. On that note, here’s the updated list of St Lucia Zouks team players:
Retained: Daren Sammy, Andre Fletcher, Kesrick Williams, Obed McCoy, Rahkeem Cornwall, Kavem Hodge, and Colin Ingram (Overseas).
