Even after playing with newcomers, the Indian cricket team decimated Australia in their home ground and won the series. One of the crucial newcomers which India got from Border Gavaskar Trophy 2020-21 is M. Siraj. The young player bagged 13 wickets in three test matches and also got five wickets to haul in the last test match. M. Siraj has been included in the roster along with Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, R. Ashwin, and more.

M. Siraj Will Play with Ishant Sharma For the First Time

Ishant Sharma is one of the best bets for India in test match format. The right-arm fast bowler has always delivered promising results with the bowl. M. Siraj, who has already played with Jasprit Bumrah, R. Ashwin, will be playing sharing field with Ishant Sharma for the first time.

M. Siraj is Motivated to Perform Well Against England

In an interview, the 26-year-old fast bowler said that after learning many things from senior players, he is confident that he will show exceptional performance against England. Siraj has already shared the field with Ajinkya Rahane, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, and M. Shami. He further stated that he would use all the strategies against England to give India a comfortable start in the beginning.

Virat Kohli Will Be the Biggest Wicket for England Team

Jos Buttler attended a virtual press conference and stated that Virat Kohli would be the prime target for England. Since India decimated Australia and won the series, the skipper will be hungry to lead the team with the same adrenaline and win the first two test matches against. Recently, Virat Kohli shared his quarantine workout video on social media platforms with a motivational quote. It is expected that England bowlers will curate a special strategy for the Indian captain to reduce some pressure from the match.

All the players from both the teams will be in quarantine for the next six days before the first test match due to quarantine rules and regulations set up by BCCI. The first test match between India and England will start on February 05, 2021, and the second test match is scheduled for February 13, 2021. Both the test matches will be played in Chennai.
