After a disastrous performance in the last years IPL, with just 5 wins in 14 matches, RCB is eyeing to take revenge over all the teams this year after having a very successful auction. After adding the likes of Aaron Finch and Chris Morris to their batting lineup, this year RCB is looking very serious and strong when it comes to depth in the batting side. Whereas Sunrisers Hyderabad had a great season, which unfortunately ended in the first knockout match last year against the Delhi capitals. When it comes to additions to the team, Sunrises added some explosive allrounders in their lineup with Mitchell Marsh and Fabian Allen as their main addition. Overall the Sunrisers team is well balanced on the paper while Royal challengers Banglore seems to look a little bit heavy on their batting side.
When it comes to head to head, both the teams are pretty much equal against each other. With Sunrisers Hyderabad taking a slight advantage over RCB with 8 wins in total 14 matches whereas RCB has 6 wins in 14 matches. Overall Sunrisers Hyderabad is favorited against the Royals but RCB has the star power in them which makes them the favorable winner in the games even when they are not performing their best. With the likes of Virat Kohli and Ab De Villiers and Aaron Finch, you can never rule out RCB and not at least at the start of the tournament.
As it seems, both SRH and RCB no clear winners in this match. But if we start considering the previous matches and records, then SRH is the heavyweight there is no doubt in that.
The match between the two will be the 3rd match of this year’s Indian Premier league and which will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
