!st IPL match 2020

The first match of the tournament will be played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings on 19 September. These are the two top-performing and most favorite teams of the tournament. Though, CSK and MI head to head records are in favor of MI but MS Dhoni lead CSK is always the most competitive side in the IPL Tournament. CSK and MI records are 12 – 18 wins respectively, out of 30 matches played between them and that is the only clear advantage MI can rely upon.

IPL 2020 Match 1, Cricdaddy Match Live Updates:
After a long wait for millions of cricket fans, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has finally released the schedule of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). While the franchise teams were under pressure for the last several days, the wait for the cricket enthusiasts was constantly increasing. But only after reaching the UAE a total of 13 members of staff including two Chennai Super Kings players were tested positive with COVID19 that delayed the schedule a bit. BCCI took its time in releasing the IPL 2020 schedule and now the dates for the clash are out.

Though, Raina is not supposed to be joining the team as of now, so that can be a big setback for the boys in yellow. Still, they have Watson, Du Plessis and Murli Vijay in the top order backed up by Dwane Bravo and Mahi himself. The bowling side is also pretty firm with Piyush Chawla, Imran Tahir and Shardul Thakur. This will be the first game of former Indian skipper MS Dhoni after he announced his retirement from international cricket. Raina has also followed him with his decision but will not be a part of this tournament.
On the other hand, the champions must be looking forward to defend their title this year and the first encounter will decide that a lot. The CSK are the most prominent threat for them as they are the second-best team of all the IPL tournaments played. MI had ended the last season with a win over CSK in the tournament final and they have all the strength to continue doing the same. Rohit Sharma will lead the batting brigade with Quinton de Kock and Kieron Pollard while Lasith Malinga will lead the bowling side with Trent Bolt and Hardik Pandya.

Both the teams are well balanced and have proven records. It looks like the Mumbai Indians might have the edge over Chennai Super Kings in this game as CSK will be missing some if its champion players. Rest is all a mystery until the teams touch the ground. The LIVE actions can be enjoyed on 19 Sep while the LIVE IPL 2020 Updates will be available on Cricdaddy.
