After losing the first test of Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2020-21 against Australia in Adelaide, Indian cricket team is all set to make five changes in the upcoming test matches. As per the sources, there might be five changes in the team structure. The decision of changing cards come after the unexpected batting order collapse of the team in the second innings of the match.
Ajinkya Rahane Will Lead the Team in Second Test Match
Since the captain Virat Kohli will be on paternity leave, Ajinkya Rahane will be leading the Indian cricket team to bounce back at MCG and level the scores in the four match test series. Currently Australia has 1-0 lead in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2020-21.
KL Rahul to Make Comeback in Test Match Format
KL Rahul will be replacing captain Virat Kohli in the middle order structure. KL Rahul played his last test cricket match in August 2019, and the comeback opportunity would be a great hit for the batsmen. However, the batting order of KL Rahul is not confirmed.

Siraj has shown some exceptional performances in previous sessions, including IPL. It is also expected that Navdeep Saini might be included in the playing XI in place of Mohammed Siraj.
