ENGLAND TOUR OF INDIA 2021

England Tour of India 2021: Teams ready for battle

Cricketers and cricket enthusiasts will have quite a busy season of cricket as it is pouring cricket everywhere. A few months ago, the Indian Premier League got over. The Indian national team is currently playing Australia in Australia with just a test match left due to finish in the following days. India next plays the English boys in February on their home soil, which features a grand itinerary. This series features nearly two straight months of cricket played across all three formats.

The biggest concern that India faces right now is the growing list of injured players. The team is full of injuries as they play the Australian side. Many key players, including KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, Mayank Agarwal, Hanuma Vihari, and Ishant Sharma are injured and many among them are uncertain for the series against England which starts on February 5th.

On the other hand, England last played against South Africa where they managed to whitewash them 3-0 in the T20I series played in South Africa. They are due to play 2 Tests against Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka that begins on January 14th. They currently sit at the fourth position in the World Test Championship Table and are in phenomenal form. They would definitely give a solid tussle to India and it would be an exciting series to watch.
