Scheduled to be played on September 2, 2020, in the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad and Tobago in West Indies, this is the 24thmatch in the pulse racing CPL2020 this year, much appreciation to the sponsors FUN88. The St Lucia Zouks and the Guyana Amazon Warriors are definitely the best teams to follow in the CPL this year. The last match that they played had the Zouks won over the Warriors with 10 runs; this has everyone biting their nails in excitement because we can only imagine the scene on the field tomorrow.
A Little Team Prep for you:
ST Lucia Zouks– They have won 5 out of the 7 matches played so far. The last match that the Zouks played showed the world the zeal that this team has for this game. They were bowled out at a 92 against the defending champions. They played with fervor and had the Tridents collapse at 89 all out. We are looking forward to have the Zouks to continue their fight. The batting however is the grey area. Rakheem Cornwall seems to have lost the tempo that he showcased in the 2019 CPL, and seems too dependent on Nabi now.
Guyana Amazon Warriors– this will be their second in the last two days. Guyana Amazon Warriors have won 3 matches out of the 7 played till date. The next few matches are crucial for them to be able to get a place in the semi-finals, so seeing seasoned players Nicholas Pooran coming in with full outline is very obvious and a booster for the team. This season has not been particularly favorable for them, but it is time they get their best out front.
The team winning the toss should definitely opt for batting first as the conditions then would be ideal.
There are speculations of rain tomorrow but the weather should clear off for the second half of the game.CricdaddyCPL 2020 thinks that this will be a gripping match; this undeniably will be a close one but will have the Guyana Amazon Warriors winning at the end.
