Chirs Silverwood Wishes To Consult ICC Regarding the Merits of the Motera Stadium Pitch

England is all set to file for an official complaint to the ICC regarding the defeat they faced in the two-day Indian Vs England match held in Ahmedabad. According to Chris Silverwood, who is the head coach of the England team, will urge the young batsmen to provide the cash when the time would be right.

During the day-night test match India Vs England 2021, which was held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera, England had to face ten wickets with a collapsing score of 112 in the first innings and 81 in the second innings. Well, what was shocking for everyone was that the total aggregate of India vs England match score became 193, which is England’s lowest India vs England test series till today in India.  Since 1904, England has always shown the best front in India vs England 2021 match series, but this time was something remarkable for India.

Joe Root was working better, actually extraordinary when the figures of 5 for 8 made through the scoreboards and this was all credited to the part-time off-break. Besides, in the first inning, India’s batting also fared better which motivated the Indian batsmen on the field. The  India vs England test series match showed the skiddiness of the ball one after another and revealed that there were 30 wickets and 20 out of which either lbw or bowled in the course of the contest. The spinners made it very tricky for the batsmen to even survive through India vs England test series match, even the best ones were getting tumbled by the unexpected balls.

Chirs Silverwood seems very determined to look into the “behind-the-scenes” which will be helpful in understanding how India vs England live match turned so disappointing for the England Team. Another biggest disappointment for Silverwood is that the match was scheduled for three days. But the wickets made the end of India vs England live match within the blink of an eye. Once again, Silverwood will have a deep conversation about the match with Joe Root along with Javagal Srinath, the referee of the match.

After the match, the opinion of everyone seems to have divided and taken a sharp turn towards the merits of the Motera pitch. Everyone is claiming the Motera Stadium seems to have a problem. Even Virat Kohli, the Indian cricket team captain has raised an opinion about the stadium pitch and quotes “below-par batting on both sides”. To counter this opinion, Joe Root has quoted something exceptionally different “stadium’s 40,000 fans had been robbed”, which means that the cricket fans would not have enjoyed the fair batting in the two-day match series. He is completely in denial of the defeat and wishes to get more wickets in the match, which didn’t happen.

The conflict in the mind of the England players regarding the match is quite strong. There were confident about the win because they won the toss and also scored  74 for 2 in their first innings. Silverwood states that even the score of 200 would have sounded a bit better but not this one. It has thrown every player of the England team off the control. Besides this, the surprising thing is the next 8 wickets happened just within the 38 balls and turned the match in the favour of India.

Silverwood finally resumes himself and seems to have accepted the defeat gracefully and quotes that “although the pitch has some issues even we could have improved at a certain level”. The England team missed the opportunity they had to beat India in the very first innings and could have turned the prediction of the match. Well, the final words go that whether the pitch is at fault or not, Idea still played better than England in the match.
